Coding Hub

Organiser Lead: Dr Huseyin Seker (IoC Northumbria Director)

Regardless of your degree programme or level of your experience in coding, we are here to help you develop your coding skill for your projects and future career. Come and join us and start coding.

During the sessions, you will find a chance to learn and practice coding in Python and Java. You will also be able to develop your coding skills to create your own data analytics code and tool that you may be able to apply in your own discipline, and to enhance your coursework and project dissertation as well as your CV.

The club are particularly organised for students with non-computing background and delivered by the Institute of Coding Teaching Fellows for UG Final Year and MSc students, but we would be happy to welcome students at all levels.

If you wish to attend any of the following sessions, please contact Dr Tanya Vlasova (tanya.vlasova@northumbria.ac.uk) to book your place.

If you are data analytics expert, we are looking forward to welcoming you to share your experience with beginners. If you would like to get involved with the Data Analytics Hub, please get in touch with Tanya Vlasova via e-mail (tanya.vlasova@northumbria.ac.uk).
